Cherry Miao, Accel

Cherry Miao joined Accel in 2018 and is focused on high-growth technology companies. Prior to Accel, Cherry helped scale the former Accel portfolio company Lightspeed HQ from 60 to over 600 employees by spearheading two major international acquisitions and raising more than $250 million in venture backing. Over five years at Lightspeed, she served in a variety of roles across strategy, analytics, partnerships, and corporate development, and most recently served as Vice President of Data & Analytics, leading a team of analysts and information systems developers. Prior to Lightspeed, Cherry was a private equity investor at Audax and Lindsay Goldberg. Cherry is from Massachusetts and graduated from Harvard.

Kobie Fuller, Upfront Ventures

Kobie brings to Upfront deep expertise in enterprise SAAS and emerging technologies including VR and AR. Over his career he has invested early in notable companies including Exact Target (sold to Salesforce for $2.5B) and Oculus (sold to Facebook for $2B). Kobie joined Upfront in June 2016 after having previously been an investor at Accel. Prior to Accel, Kobie was the Chief Marketing Officer at LA-based REVOLVE, one of the largest global fashion e-commerce players. Earlier in his career, Kobie helped found OpenView Venture Partners and was an investor at Insight Venture Partners. Kobie graduated from Harvard College.

Alexandra Zatarain, Eight Sleep

Alexandra Zatarain is the co-founder and VP of Brand Marketing of Eight Sleep, a sleep fitness company. To date, the company has collected over 43 million hours of sleep data which have been used to design the ultimate sleep experience. In 2017, she was named by Forbes to the 30 Under 30 list of young professionals making an impact in the Consumer Technology Industry. She gives back as a mentor with Galvanize, WE NYC, and is an angel investor in female founded companies as a Cleo Capital scout.

Sarah Kunst, Cleo Capital

Sarah Kunst is the managing director of Cleo Capital & a contributing editor at Marie Claire Magazine. She has served as a senior advisor at Bumble where she focused on their corporate VC arm Bumble Fund and on the board of the Michigan State University Foundation endowment. Kunst has been named a Future Innovator by Vanity Fair, Forbes 30 Under 30 and a top 25 innovator in tech by Cool Hunting. She has been recognized for her work in Business Insider as a 30 under 30 Women in Tech and Top African-American in Tech & Pitchbook Top Black VC To Watch and honored as a top woman in VC by the Wall St. Journal and named a top DealmakeHer by the National Retail Federation. She was also named a coach for the Cartier Women’s Initiative.

Manan Mehta, Unshackled Ventures

Manan is a founding partner of Unshackled Ventures and has successfully launched a business

with a co-founder on a visa. Prior to Unshackled Ventures, Manan ran marketing for ed-tech startup Kno (acq. by Intel 2013) that raised over $90M of funding from top VCs including a16z, First Round Capital, and Floodgate. Before Kno, Manan was an investment banker with $3B in transactions, including the $1.9B acquisition of Skype. Manan was born in Silicon Valley and received a double major at UCLA."
