Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. With operations across six core countries in Africa, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. On average, our farmers harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund.
One Acre Fund will be discussing post-grad mid to senior level full-time and temp/contract roles. If you interview with One Acre Fund, you can expect Plum psychometric survey testing, 2-3 interview rounds, 1-2 “work exercises,” and a 1-3 day finalist interview. This can vary by position.Positions are available in: Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, and Nigeria. Any role on a global team is usually located in Rwanda or Kenya or in rare occasions the US. We also have nationality criteria for our roles so either the role requires a country national (non-negotiable), or a citizen from one of our countries of operation is preferred or it's open to international applicants. The majority of our roles fall into the first two categories. We have diversity goals for senior/country leadership to be more representative of the country program (in some cases looking to get a 50/50 split of African and non-African leaders in executive bodies like steering committees).
