"Teach For America’s Men of Many Summit (Virtual)

Friday, March 26th and Saturday, March 27th 1PM-5PM EST/10AM-2PM PST

Teach For America’s Men of Many Summit is an inclusive virtual space for Indigenous, Black, Latinx, Middle Eastern, Asian & Pacific Islander Male Identifying Voices. Throughout the Summit, “we will engage in conversations about educational equity, culturally responsive teaching, careers in the education sector, as well as the critical need for men of color educators. Participants will learn how they can leverage their strengths for success in the field as well as engage in professional development opportunities with a network of top leaders and Teach For America alumni. This is an inclusive virtual space that is welcoming not only for transgender men but also those who identify as non-binary and who desire solidarity with male identifying leaders interested in social justice issues and education.

TFA’s Men of Many Summit participants will learn how they can leverage their strengths for professional success within the educational ecosystem, participate in professional development opportunities, and hear from best-in-class thought leaders around the specific value proposition that men of color hold within education. We encourage everyone to register whether you are considering a career in education, just entering college, changing professions, thinking about how to make an impact outside of the classroom, or generally looking to connect and build community with like-minded professionals. All are welcome to attend this virtual summit.”

The two-day virtual summit will include:

● Keynote speakers

● Professional development sessions

● Mentorship opportunities

● Networking with schools, community based organizations, and alternative teaching pathways
